My special guest today is one of the most interesting people I have met. A near-death experience transformed a promising international lawyer into a profound spiritual teacher who perceives life from an entirely different dimension. Gratiela has parted ways with the modern, busy world, retreated somewhere in rural France and discovered her true calling in helping others find their own purpose in life. Gratiela’s story has the potential to change our perspective dramatically, and the least I can do is reveal a small part of her exceptional personality.
Name: Gratiela M. Rosu
Hometown: Voineasa, Valcea County

Living in: St. Martin Le Pin, Nontron, France
Current position & company: Kitchen, at the head of the table... Company: 4 dogs, 4 cats, one daughter, 5 chickens, 30+ rabbits and a guinea pig, all sleeping, I hope
Therapist, Spiritual Teacher, Writer, Founder of CWS Coaching & VISAIN* G. R. Aromatherapy
TGR: Gratiela, it is the first time when I see a performer in law turning into such a profound spiritual teacher! It's really hard to put an equal sign between these two professions, isn't it?
GR: Well, it is, and it isn’t. From the social and professional aspect, they are two completely different worlds, but the ethos and the drive behind are the same, at least for me. Since I was little, all I wanted to do was to be a lawyer, because I could not stand injustice. I was a rebel, a rule-breaker and a change-maker, and nothing changed since. Other than realising that the real change and the justice are not made in court.
The irony is that I never wanted to have anything to do with this world of spirituality, healing, coaching and so on. I was very much a dominant left-brain with a strong, no-nonsense attitude. So I guess the joke is on me.
I didn’t choose this path. I was whacked over the head with it and dragged to it while I was kicking and screaming.
What were the triggers that made you change gears?
There have been many over the years, which I did my best to ignore. The most dramatic one has been a long series of illnesses, starting with a fear of cancer and many symptoms that the medical science could not explain, a severe depression, and culminating with a near-death experience. It was this unimaginable, world-shattering experience that helped me make the transition from one world into the other - metaphorically and literally. From then onwards it became a matter of assiduous research and learning, going to all kinds of gurus, healers and training seminars around the world, in the hope that somebody could teach me what I didn't fully understand from this extraordinary experience. But again, when I set on that journey, I did it for a purely personal, selfish, you could say, reason, not to 'become' a healer or coach, or anything else for that matter.
It was during these years of studies and research that my rebel and justiciar side were triggered violently by the amount of nonsense I encountered. If you want to expose a lie or a muddy half-truth, send in a lawyer trained in two systems, born with a taste for justice, who on top refuses to convert to anything 'spiritual'. I had on my side my academic training and the best research method, for which I have to thank BPP Law School in London. I wasn't there to make friends; I wasn't there to be accepted; I wasn't looking for miracles. I just died and came back, I couldn't care less, and most definitely, I wasn't seeking to make 'a career' out of it. I died from trying to build one! I wanted answers. Serious answers, and nothing was going to stop me.
I came to learn the hard way the meaning of 'careful what you wish for, because you may get it'. I opened Pandora's box, and there was no turning back. In fact, there was no turning back since my return to this life anyway.
It is that kind of experiences you wish they never happened, but I can see it turned out pretty well for you... What is your unique positioning in the world of personal development and spiritual teachings?
My unique positioning? If I had to pick one, it would be my first-hand experience and knowledge and the fact that I am more on a mission than on a 'job' or a career path. Since my transitioning, my whole world-view, my approach to life and my priorities have completely changed. I am doing what I am doing today because this is who I am; because I couldn't get away from it even if I tried, and I paid a steep price for it. I am not trying to position myself anywhere or compete with any field or person. I am merely a messenger in the service of the message I have to deliver. And the first part of that message is that we have to grow up, and fast, and move past the shiny illusion cast by the ego.
What do you bring new to this crowded field nowadays?
Hmm, crowded indeed… Everything and nothing I would say. Everything - because my approach is unique, in that I don't view healing, education, and the human life from the same perspective as my colleagues, being mainstream or alternative.
If I were to adhere to their paradigm, I could call myself a born healer. But from experience, and after a lot of headaches trying to wrap my mind around this immense concept, healing, like most things in human perception, is a misconception. Everybody talks about healing. As I wrote in my Conversations With Self book, we have more healers than ever, and yet the world is sicker by the day. So this healing business must be either a very lucrative one or very ineffective.
Before talking about 'healing', we need to look at what causes the illness, the condition. And that is ignorance of our true nature and abilities. Knowledge is the only true healer, and I guess by saying that I answered why I bring everything and nothing new; because this message has been transmitted throughout the history of humankind, only that the meaning of knowledge has been thwarted, knowingly or unknowingly, on purpose or through the lack of sufficient depth.
You could read about this and a lot more in the book.
Why should someone contact you for help? Where do you make the difference for your customers?
Firstly, I don't have 'customers'! I prefer the term 'clients', but both have the wrong connotation, because we should be by now a lot further in our development, to the point where we don't see each other as potential 'customers/clients/source of revenue', but as an extension of Self (the big and the little self), collaborating to enrich our personal and collective experience. But as long as we still have to pay the bills... until the majority wakes up, we play with what we have.
Why should they contact me? They shouldn't! Unless they are out of options and they have tried everything, they should go and mess things up, untie the knot, drop the suit, get small and humble, face their demons and ugly truths, and with a bit of luck, they'll come to the other side all by themselves. Maybe not in one piece, and guaranteed, not the same person. A richer one!
The work I do is not for everyone. I don't do 'fluffy talk', I hate wasting my time and people's money if they are only interested in someone doing the work for them: 'healing, changing their life, positive talk, etc.'
I guess the Cerberus lawyer is still in there.
You talk about the new evolving human being, and I understand that this new paradigm is at the centre of your work. How do you see the future of this new, evolved human?
Great question! I often think about this as an exercise.
I see, and I have contact with many dimensions of Self. I would like to see the new evolving human the way I see the civilisation in the sixth dimension, where there is no hierarchy and discrimination as we know here, where people are all telepaths and empaths, communicating in a hive-like mind, where no crime is possible, mainly because of their high inner values; where everybody works towards a common higher aim for the betterment of their world and others in need.
The way I see things, humankind is on the cusp of either a major spiritual transformation or its demise. We have a very narrow window in which to decide which way we go: the spiritual path, or the robotic, technologically enhanced one. The latter is what will bring humanity to extinction.
Could you share with us a few success stories of the people you helped with your unique approach?
Hmm, I was my first success story! But I can give you many examples of educating someone into their own science to the point of Self-realisation, where the condition was no longer necessary for their evolution.
A brilliant medical doctor who came to see me for a peculiar neck condition that medicine could not address, who saved her marriage and changed her world.
An amazing client, hemiplegic from multiple sclerosis, who came to see me for depression, my top speciality and my favourite to work with, who after six sessions and my subliminal CD programmes, walked ten steps alone, after many years.
A thyroid ganglion, for which a surgical intervention was considered, disappearing after the first session (9 hours long!).
Diabetes 2, and a whole lot of medical conditions, recessed within two months without medication - with 'before' and 'after' medical tests...
A case of severe schizophrenia and bipolar disorder - a girl institutionalised since the age of 13 until 18, when she was kicked out, having multiple suicidal attempts - who realised that she was not crazy, but gifted! She had a hearing acuity way above the human range, and she was also a strong telepath, but nobody saw this...
Do you work mainly from home or do you also travel? And what made you choose the French countryside?
The greater part of my work is home based. I work with people from all over the world, online, through my email, video and audio programmes, and in person. It doesn’t matter where they are, the information and the process are the same. But I need to be close to nature and away from crowded places.
I chose rural France because I wanted to offer my daughter a similar childhood with mine: free and close to nature while using the same opportunity to heal. Dordogne is, in many ways, very similar to the rural Romania of my childhood, and only one hour away from London.
I suppose it is also the ideal place for creating your natural products and writing your books. What is the main message you wish to convey in your books?
It is. We live in an oasis of peace and calm, surrounded by nature.
The central message in all my books is an urgent call to wake us up from the mass hypnosis that humanity has been under since the beginning of our time. Because we don’t have long until things could turn really ugly. That if we want to change the world, we have to change our inner world first, by taking responsibility for our actions, thoughts and emotions. Ultimately, that we are all one, multiple facets of Self, devolved from Source in a quest for self-discovery. We are not alone. Not on this planet, not in this solar system, universe, multiverse or dimensions, and soon we will be faced with this reality, which is part of the universal science that I teach.
What are your current projects, besides changing lives?
I’m juggling like 100 tasks... I just launched my first line of home-made aromatherapy products, but this takes the second position before I see my books published:
Conversations With Self, The Spiritual Science That Will Set You Free
Ode To Infinite Self – A love poem of Creation
The Great King, The Evil Wizard And The Returning Prince – an emotional intelligence book for parents and children ages 7-120
Escape Your Mental Prison To Get The Life You Deserve
Six Powerful Steps To Your Freedom
They will be soon on Amazon and I am taking pre-orders. When my new website will be ready, I will send you the links, but for now you can use my Facebook page.
Gratiela, what are your current feelings towards Romania?
Of deep love. I don't see nationalities, and I cannot think within borders, but if I have to look at the map and describe the characteristics of our country, I would say Romania is a hidden treasure, a jewel in the crown of humanity, exactly because of its people! There is something unique about the Romanian spirit, as they have recently demonstrated to the whole world. We have endured many oppressors, but none have succeeded to kneel our spirit. What the American democracy almost destroyed since the revolution, that true and dignifying spirit is reclaiming back now, little by little.
We are a nation with a high percentage of intellectuals and very, very intelligent and gifted people, as our performers from all fields, including your guests, demonstrate. Our main handicap is a mixture of high intellect, too much common sense (if you can ever have too much) and a low self-esteem, caused by our disadvantaged upbringing, the communism being the most recent one. But that too has its role; we have an important role in the transformation about to take place.
Please tell me something particular about Romania that you would usually say to a foreign friend.
There is nothing more persuasive than the experience itself. So, instead of talking about Romania, I make them feel it. I love to cook, and I love to share, as you could see, I am still a true Romanian woman at core. Everywhere I went, I made them taste Romania, and they loved it! We used to have dinner parties with Maria Tanase, Gheorghe Zamfir, Enescu in the background and teach our guests few words in Romanian.
Do you see yourself moving back? What would convince you?
Some days, yes, others, no. A world catastrophe or if I have to be there as part of my work.
What is your biggest dream?
That humanity is waking up, and we get to finally live the golden age.
Well, I can see you take your mission seriously, and I hope you help as many people as possible discover their true purpose in life. I am honoured to have met you and I want to thank you for your time!
And I want to thank you for the opportunity to share my message with your readers, and for your noble initiative of bringing to the world positive and inspiring Romanians with whom we are all proud!
